30 Days of Littles Day 8

The boys don’t watch any TV, and barely any movies, but we do spend a lot of time on You Tube. Animal and music videos are the most popular with the boys – they both like watching the animals or dancing to the music. I like it because I can control what they’re watching and the clips are short enough to keep their attention – and also that it’s an activity that they both enjoy doing together.

And it is hilarious to watch them so fully enamored with the videos.
Our current favorite is the Gummy Bear Song.

hehe, cute song! Levi loves Monster Truck clips on YouTube.
The Fisher Price website has a few free online games for babies/toddlers, you might be interested in those. Levi likes the ABC's zoo, and it's designed so any button they hit will bring up an animal.

Thanks Amber! I will have to check out the Fisher Price website! :)
And Monster Trucks is a great idea to watch on YouTube!! He loves trucks and tractors and motorcycles, so any of those would be great to watch on there!

after about 80 billion plays of this song from a computer in my house it is now forbidden! It's cute the first few times, maybe even the first couple of dozen times, but over and over and over again from a 8 and 10 year old and it got old VERY quickly! Also check out Starfall.com. My not so "littles" loved it when they were much younger.

Helen loves pbskids.org. There are lots of fun games, coloring pages, videos, etc. I like it because she can watch a bit of Sesame Street or Curious George without parking in front of the TV for an hour.

There's a game on the Martha Speaks show site there that is great for teaching kids how to use the mouse. I think it's cool!

I particularly enjoyed the gummi bear butt crack.... LOL. Nathaniel made me turn it off after the first minute because he couldn't take it anymore.

I haven't let Mary on the computer at all, I don't want to share :P
