I am Jessica Morris. I am married to my most favorite person and we have been blessed with two curly haired boys, Judah (born in 2007) and Wesley (born in 2008).
I am a child of God and seek to honor Him through my life actions.
I was married at 19 and have enjoyed growing and learning with Paul through this beautiful journey.
The Army relocated us to the beautiful South and we have chosen to make it our home for as long as the Lord allows. We bought our first house in the Spring of 2008 and are so thankful for how the Lord orchestrated the details of that major purchase.
We are both drawn to the idea of living life on purpose instead of just letting it slip by.
Our family mission statement is adopted from a quote by Anthony Norris Groves
"Labor hard
Consume Little
Give Much.
And all to the Lord."
This is our hearts desire as individuals and for our family.
I appreciate Paul encouraging my desire for me to be a stay at home wife and mom. I am always looking for ways to simplify our lives through minimalism, organization and financial savings.
I am passionate about photography and shoot with a Nikon D90 and primarily use my 50mm 1.8 lens.I have owned my camera since the Fall of '08 and have use it just about every single day. I named it Frank in honor of the salesman that sold it to me.
I enjoy reading thought provoking books, cooking international foods and hosting game nights at our house.
I buy all my clothes at second hand stores.
I adore my VFFs and don't think I'll ever be converted back to regular athletic shoes again.
My goal for this blog is to encourage intentional living, enjoyment of your family and a healthy lifestyle.
I run a second blog devoted to all things boy entitled Boy Terrain.
Thanks for visiting!
