A Day at the Swamp
Amanda, Judah and I went to the swamp today. I love, love, love it there so much!! Definitely one of my favorite places to go with a camera! We saw lots of beautiful creatures! Does anyone know what the bird floating in the water is?

Great photos! The tall guy standing on one leg is probably a heron...
Lovely photos! Love the dragonfly! The long-beaked bird in the water looks like a loon to me, but then I am the least of all competent bird watchers. The only ones I'm really confident knowing are the noisy hummingbirds outside my windows right now! ;-) Oh, I did recognize the heron, too.
