Can't get this off my mind...

Yesterday I discovered Melissa's blog 'Cool, Calm & Collected ... or my attempt at it, anyway'.

"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died;
Rather, we should thank God that such men lived"
-Gen. George S. Patton

I don't know this woman, but my heart is breaking for her. She is 19 years old and one month ago her fiance died serving our country in Iraq. Every time I think about her, which has been quite often, I cry. This could have so easily of been me. I cannot imagine the pain and heartache that she has gone through, being so young and so full of dreams and excitement at the thought of spending the rest of her life with the love of her life... and then having him snatched away. Her finace is a true hero.
As you think of her pray for her and that she will find peace and comfort from our Heavenly Father. And maybe even stop by her blog and leave her some words of encouragement!

I found this through Dane Bramage. Appreciate that you wrote such a heart felt post about the loss of another.
I'd also like to thank your husband for his service.
Take care!
