Update

Our plumbing got backed up.
When I flushed the toilet stuff came up the shower.
When I ran the dishwasher our laundry room floor got covered with an inch of water.
When the washing machine was running the kitchen and surrounding carpets got a soaking.
I ran all these things at the same time, and discovered it all within seconds of each other.
Not a happy moment.

That evening we ate supper by candle light so that we didn't have to see the mess and to help disguise the smell.

The next day Paul was off work and he surprised me with an hour long massage at the local School of Massage. I've been to a few different spas before for massages that were a lot more expensive than this one, and I must say - the student was amazing! The whole place is set up nicely. They have the music and lighting and the student aimed to please. I'd definitely go back to the School of Massage over a regular Spa. The *only* negative thing I could possibly say about it is that the rooms were just thick curtains, not actual rooms. It wasn't a big deal to me, but some people might care.

After the massage I went to our local Goodwill. They had all their childrens clothes for $1! There were a whole bunch of like-new jeans from Gap and The Children's Place so I bought Judah a few pairs in his next size. I found some cool things for myself and a few books for the boys. I forgot how much I love second hand stores :) It's not so fun with little boys, but a couple hours in there alone is a lot of fun!

We have been sick the past few days - Wesley is currently fighting a fever, Judah seems to have a sore throat and a cough and Paul and I have sore throats and just feel miserable.
It's not a whole lot of fun, and we hope it goes away soon!

Ugh, what a mess!!

The massage and solo shopping trip sounded great though.

Oh....the plumbing thing. Been there done that, and more than once. In fact, it happened at my mom's house on my wedding day. Talk about a mess.

Reading about your massage makes me want one now.
