Our goal is to celebrate our anniversary in a different State each year, and so far we're doing great.
Nashville was fun. We didn't see any shows, but we did a lot of walking and looking and had a pretty relaxed time together.
We stayed at the Preston Hotel. Our room overlooked the airport and we had some impressive views of planes landing. It wasn't overly romantic as every time a plane rumbled by I would think of our two year old and how much he'd of loved seeing the planes so close up.
The hotel was very modern, and not quite our taste. No complaints about the hotel itself. It just wasn't us.
Click on the below image to check out their hilarious list of items they provide. I just love the pet fish they offer. :)

We were told that the Pancake Pantry was a must eat at place, and so we stopped by. The line up was out the door! The food was delicious and worth the stop. I included the street signs in the picture in case you visit the area and want to stop by!

On our way home we decided to stop at the Jack Daniel's Distillery. It was quite a ways off the highway, but SO worth it. Even if you don't drink, it's a fascinating tour! The tour is free and lasts an hour. It's a walking tour, so if you go, wear comfy shoes!
