Wish I could have been there. I know you all had a good time. We are having Ladies Night out again next week, and it is salad night. I am asking each lady to bring a salad and recipe. I will compile the recipes and give out at the next get-together. This is the 3rd time we will be getting together and have had about 8 ladies each time. It has been a great time. Last time we did breakfast, and everybody brought muffins. I did breakfast casserole, fruit and french toast casserole. We had muffins galore. The first time we did baked potatoes with toppings and salad. I am planning to have a yard sale the first of June, and asking all of the ladies to join me if they would like to. Let me know when the home item get together is going to be. I would love to try to come. Jackie

A few weeks before Christmas our church did a cookie exchange. They asked each lady to bring 6 cookies per person attending, and a copy of the recipe. They also asked specifically for cookies that would freeze well. Then every lady got to take home 6 of each kind of cookie, and the idea was for us to be able to freeze them and have a nice supply of cookies for holiday entertaining. :-)
Another thing our church does occasionally is craft day, just getting together to talk and work on scrapbooks or other crafty items.

Did I tell you I'm thinking about a book swap for book lovers??

What a great idea! I love sharing recipes, but since I am 20 I usually am swapping them with people much older. Hopefully soon I will find some people my age to share tips and tricks with!
